Confidence

I can not express how great it feels to have my hip hold back and have confidence in it!! I had such a perfect grippy day on Sunday and it was perfect for testing my abilities. After working on my basic hip hold position I felt ready to give this starfish a try (I did do it while demoing in 404 which was from a combination of good grip and adrenaline but had not had the confidence to do it again). So happy it worked and that it gave me further confidence to try some other tricks. And now I need to work on what those arms are doing.

One of the hardest things about coming back has probably been gaining my confidence back. I'm just not feeling the same grip and because I'm not as strong it is harder to get into some of the positions as securely as I used to. I've noticed a change in my skin chemistry and what I need to get a secure grip. It used to be that I could grip to a cold pole and now that it not the case. My skin is dryer and I need more aveeno. I'm learning and adjusting to these new variances and slowly gaining back the confidence I once had in my body.
